Michael (Mick) is a multi-disciplinary professional with qualifications across IT, law, science, accounting, business and corporate governance. In addition to being an Australian Lawyer he is a Risk and Governance Professional, Chartered Secretary and Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia.
Prior to law Michael spent around a decade working as an IT consultant, taking up roles as a developer, business analyst and project manager. Much of this work involved business process re-engineering and implementing Enterprise Resource Planning systems. However, he also spent his early days at CSIRO working on sugarcane modelling and cattle feed trials. His love for Australian agriculture, particularly AgTech, has never diminished.
When he is not trying to perfect his beef rendang recipe, he applies his business acumen and extensive tech consulting background to law, providing legal services to startups, scaleups and the broader tech community. Giuseppe Cassin

Giuseppe is an intellectual property and entertainment lawyer admitted to practice law in Australia and New Zealand. He has an extensive knowledge of the entertainment industry and adds value to the IT and Startup Lawyers team particularly as the lines between IT and the digital / creative industries continue to blur and the intellectual property needs of each overlap.
With Giuseppe's language skills (English, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish), his New Zealand admission and his qualifications in International Affairs he is on hand to assist with the ever increasing global demands of our clients who operate beyond Australian shores.
Giuseppe is also involved in film and music video production and is occasionally found around Brisbane with his guitar in hand belting out some folky melodies at local pubs and clubs.

Fiona Boyle
Operations Director
Fiona has a background in customer liaison and retail management. She is heavily involved in the daily operations of the firm, filling operational gaps in the IT Lawyers Team by working across accounting, marketing, human resource management and customer service. In addition to business administration Fiona plays a crucial role in governance, compliance and risk management within the firm.
Fiona serves the important role of dealing with customer complaints. She has been waiting patiently to help resolve any issues which arise, however, this has not proven to be a time-consuming role. She does thank you for your praises and encourages you to provide any feedback about the IT Lawyers Team directly to her.
